County North Development Update

Salt/sand for mixing

In October, the County’s salt/sand storage
facility on the north development, one cold
stage building and perimeter fencing were
completed. Overhead doors for the salt storage will be installed in November.

The proposed new operation and administration building is on hold until the Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) committee
meets again to discuss the Joint Development Area (JDA) and associated servicing
agreement.

Property Assessors Conducting Annual Inspections
Throughout the year, Clearwater County property assessors conduct property inspections to gather information required to complete the 2017 annual assessment.
Assessors may knock on your door for any of the following reasons:
• Assess new construction, newly renovated or development permit inquiries
• Re-inspect a property that has been sold in the past 12 months
• General five year cycle re-assessment to update/ensure accuracy
If you are not home and more information is required, the Assessor will leave a
red call back card so that you can call to discuss the property or to arrange a time
for an appointment.
