8 | NOV. 2016 Public Works Construction Season Wrapping up Bridge repair Wet weather delayed County road construction projects. www.clearwatercounty.ca Rocky Wood Road Wet weather during the summer months delayed many of the County’s road construction projects. But with a little sunshine in between the rain, many of the asphalt overlay and road repairs were completed. The bridge replacement at SW 01-038-04W5M (Township Road 38-0) is now complete, but the rain did delay several bridge construction projects including: • Frisco Bridge – construction underway, with anticipated completion November 4. • Bridge on Township Road 39-2 off Highway 752 – construction started at the beginning Asphalt patch repair of October, with an anticipated completion of mid-November. • Leedale Bridge –construction scheduled to start at the end of November, with anticipated completion date of December 20. In terms of the Caroline development, the contractor has shut down for the season with approximately 70% of project completed. It is anticipated work will begin again early in the new year to complete the construction of a storm water pond. Grading for the remainder of the site is scheduled to begin again in the spring of 2017.
