Wet weather during the summer months
delayed many of the County’s road construction projects.
But with a little sunshine in between the
rain, many of the asphalt overlay and road
repairs were completed.
The bridge replacement at SW 01-038-04W5M (Township Road 38-0) is now complete,
but the rain did delay several bridge construction projects including:
• Frisco Bridge – construction underway,
with anticipated completion November 4.
• Bridge on Township Road 39-2 off Highway
752 – construction started at the beginning
Asphalt patch repair
of October, with an anticipated completion
of mid-November.
• Leedale Bridge –construction scheduled to
start at the end of November, with anticipated completion date of December 20.
In terms of the Caroline development, the
contractor has shut down for the season with
approximately 70% of project completed. It
is anticipated work will begin again early in
the new year to complete the construction of
a storm water pond. Grading for the remainder of the site is scheduled to begin again in
the spring of 2017.
