GLASS&SEALEDUNITS
Working Towards a Greener World
»»ADVANCED SEALED
Units in Welham Green,
Hatfield, Hertfordshire,
appreciates the appeal of energy
rated glass to environmentally
and financially conscious
homeowners looking to save
money on their energy bills,
as well as reduce their carbon
footprint. The Company supplies
energy rated sealed glass units
to fabricators, contractors and
glaziers installing energy efficient
glazing in doors, windows and
conservatories for domestic and
commercial properties alike.
The growing company operates
from just outside London,
putting its accessible location
and fleet of vehicles to good use,
delivering to customers covering
a major part of England subject
to volume of orders. A collection
service is also available.
“The business was formed by
four friends from the industry six
years ago,” explains Co-Director,
Divesh Pindoria. “We’ve grown
rapidly, in line with the growing
demand for our ‘Energy’ rated
sealed glass units, and already
employ 25 staff at our in-house
production facilities.
“Information regarding energy
ratings is readily available on
the internet so we have found
that our customers are already
well-educated on energy rated
products, particularly fabricators
and installers, but also our retail
customers. These tend to be
homeowners looking to replace
the glass in their existing windows
themselves or appoint an installer
to do it for them.”
‘offer an efficient
and friendly
service to all’
The Company prides itself on
being able to offer an efficient
and friendly service to all its
customers regardless of order
size, whether it be for 10 units
or 300 units per week. The label
printing service offered also
means that customers can have
their own company logo printed
on double glazed units. This
is particularly useful to trade
counter customers who may be
ordering in complete sealed units
to sell to glaziers in their area.
Divesh says that the use of
triple glazed units is also on the
increase, “Although this rise
hasn’t been as sharp as energy
rated double glazed units when
the A to C scale ratings were
introduced, however we are
starting to see interest gather
momentum as customers look
to further enhance the noise
reduction and energy efficiency
that triple glazing brings to our
homes.”
