£ 1m in second site helps ‘ secure future ’
» LEADING FULL-SERVICE marketing agency Purplex has invested around £ 1m in a new office on the same South West site as its current headquarters . The move follows a sustained period of growth for the agency , which specialises in the fenestration and construction industries .
The brand-new office facility will aid Purplex ’ s rapid expansion plans and can accommodate 150 plus additional employees . It will also feature a TV / recording studio and dedicated training centre – and it will become the first netzero carbon office in the South West .
“ Purplex has grown exponentially in recent years , producing fantastic results for customers , and this investment is testament to the demand for our services ,” said Andrew Scott , Purplex ’ s MD .
“ But we also want to secure the future of the business too , which is why we will provide the next generation with training and are committed to climate change , sustainability and bio-diversity .
“ This is now the third building in the Ascot Group ’ s office estate and the close proximity to the rest of the Ascot Group also means we can maintain strategic partnerships with fellow group businesses , and provide a world class marketing , media and technology company .”

» CARL F GROUPCO ’ S Regional Sales Team Leader Nathalie McKee and Purchasing Manager Lisa Davy have both celebrated ten years ’ service for the hardware distributor .
In 2010 , Nathalie joined the company as Sales Co-ordinator and was subsequently promoted to Regional Sales Team Leader . Nathalie enjoys her busy role managing the sales office team in the Peterborough head office , keeping customers updated regarding products and services ; developing the internal sales team ; preparing sales reports ; taking responsibility for large customer accounts and liaising with customers .
Lisa Davy also joined the company a decade ago after previously working for the company in the sales department . As Purchasing Manager , she oversees ordering stock and ensuring product is available for On Time In Full delivery . Lisa observes
She will be translating all of that experience into helping AluK to do even more digitally , developing assets and services to support customers and specifiers .
With an MA in International Public Relations and Global Communications Management , she is an expert in planning and managing campaigns and in particular in analysing response and engagement levels .
She explained : “ AluK ’ s digital presence is already pretty advanced , but I will be looking to drive even higher levels of engagement and focusing on content and messaging which benefits both us and our customers .”
Antoniya ’ s appointment reflects AluK ’ s ongoing commitment to investing in in-house resources which help and support customers . Sales manager Mark Brown and project consultant Liam Hanson have also joined the business this month as part of the sales and marketing team .

that , over the last ten years , a major achievement for the company has been overcoming Brexit , twice - Lisa played a key role in ensuring stock levels were organised for the two major Brexit deadlines to safeguard supply of hardware throughout .
The celebrations were marked by colleagues who congratulated Natalie and Lisa , at the time working from home due to coronavirus restrictions .
