Food Service Operations ( FSO )
Location : Sonia Gutierrez Campus
Morning ( Monday - Thursday : 9:00 am - 12:30 pm ) Evening ( Monday - Thursday : 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm )
This 5-month skills training program will prepare our students for a career in food services , restaurants , and the hospitality industry in both Back and Front of the House . The course emphasizes workplace organizational skills , food production , menu planning , customer service skills , and team-building skills that can be applied in a wide variety of settings .
Requirements : Eligible for ESL 6 ( intermediate ) or higher . Advising Session . Must have an updated resume and career plan . Basic cooking experience required in the hospitality industry , or successful completion of FSP .
Certifications Earned ServSafe Food Protection Manager .
