I am really proud of my students of Civil
Engineering who are about to publish
the second issue of ‘Civil Insight: A
Technical Magazine’ through the
Kathmandu University Civil Engineering
Club (KUCEC). I can imagine how
much effort and dedication it needs for
this purpose and from the fi rst issue’s indication, I am confi dent that this issue too will be
outstanding. The ISSN number has also been acquired this time with the sole effort of our
students.
I appreciate the contributing authors and the well-wishers who have supported for this
magazine’s success in the past and expect their continuous cooperation in days to come.
I am sure that the articles will be useful to the readers as well as to the researchers in Civil
Engineering arena.
Lastly, let me congratulate KUCEC, faculties who have helped directly or indirectly and
the dedicated editorial team for this magazine’s publication. I wish a grand success of
SANKALPA’18 program.
