Firstly, I would like to congratulate the
students of Civil Engineering in bringing
out the second volume of the Kathmandu
University Civil Engineering Club (KUCEC)
annual magazine ‘Civil Insight: A Technical
Magazine’. Hopefully this magazine will be able to communicate about the research
and knowledge of the different aspects of civil engineering to the students and all the
concerned authorities it will reach.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to highlight the importance of the collaborative
efforts of each student of the Department of Civil and Geomatics Engineering with
Architecture Program on making this magazine and the event SANKALPA as a whole
successful and well up to the expectations it upholds and beyond. I hope to see more
student participation in such kinds of academically oriented activities in the near future
as well. Such programs and initiatives will always have full support from the Dean of
School of Engineering.
