the bar high as

the show opener.

Four incredibly

unique, detailed

looks opened the

show with

cannons

booming. She

won Best Use

of Texture,

Best Theme

Inspiration

and first

runner up.

The big

winner of the

evening was

Erin Cumbia

whose My Fair

Lady

collection

looked as

though

Audrey

Hepburn

herself

would

have worn

them.

She was

gracious

enough

to provide

us with the inside scoop into her winning moment, the pre-production work, and what her future plans are as a designer after graduation.

“The moment when they called my name was fantastic. Knowing the

time and effort that I have put into it and the fact that

this is my senior year, receiving that award was just the icing on the cake. It was the fulfillment of a personal

goal and the conformation

that I am on the right track.”

It was an exciting

moment backstage as well,

as Erin’s models squealed

and ran up the stairs to share in the moment. All of the hard work had finally

come to this!
