Cumbia told Cherie that she stopped counting
around 100, though
it was probably
between 150 and 200
hours. Cumbia is
definitely a designer
to keep an eye on
in the future! She has
found a passion for
bridal ware and is
currently looking for
a job as a bridal
consultant
after
graduation
in May.
She has
even considered
opening her own bridal shop but that would be well into the future.
Another special designer was our very own Editor- in- Chief, Sarah Eliza Bell. I am honored to have been one of the three models representing her Phantom of the Opera haute couture fashion line. Her talent as a designer is even greater than her impeccable skills as an editor. Even as a sophomore up against seniors and other designers
with years of sewing
experience, her collection brought the
spectacle to a show-
stopping end.As we
took stage for our final walk, the audience rose
from their seats in uproarious applause.
For the next couple of
minutes, we soaked
in the warmth
of the spotlight
and the
adrenaline
of the moment.
It was bittersweet.
Even though our
feet were begging us to remove the 4-inch heels, none of us were ready for the night to end. Project Hollywood was a success! And next year is sure to be even better.
“We'll see where the Lord takes me.”
