If a service simular to Spotify became available for students with the ability to purchase songs / “Deluxe physical albums,” at a heavily discounted price, would you be intrested in it or a fee of £4 a month?
Rob – Hm, similar to Netflix but with the ability to purchase, although the only problem would be that why would anyone want to pay for something that they can stream for free? Definitely something that could work with tweeks and incentives for purchases?
How much would you pay for Albums / Singles with a discounted price?
(This is after the Fee per month)
Rob – Well I would say that would depend on the size of the group/artist in the industry, but a few quid maybe?
If the public had the choice of how much to pay for an artists / Bands music, any good?
Rob – It is a good idea! I believe Radiohead did that with an album a few years ago? The only problem I see with that is that is costs to make the music and produce and what not, so if everyone just purchased it for free, then there would be no profit for those making the music in the first place. That’s from a musicians point of view anyway. I’d suggest something like a minimum price?
