Hey Rob, thanks for coming down to have this interview with me for my New and upcoming magazine that your featured largely in, how are you?
Rob – Hello! Im great thank you! That’s alright, anytime
Good to hear, the main talk of today is; the attitude towards distribution models, downloads, streaming and physical CD’s, and is this behaviour accepted or not, whats your opion on this? Are you a downloader, or do you buy your music?
Rob – I’ll admit, I do a bit of both. I try not to make a habit of illegal downloading though.
Why do you download?
Rob – I’d say mainly because sometimes I just want a copy of a song or CD, there and then when I’m thinking about it when I don’t feel like going out and purchasing a hard copy of it, or sometimes because I feel like the price is too high and it then doesn’t cost me anything.
If a Deluxe album was charged at a price more than the album, would this put you off buying?’
Rob – I don’t feel at all inclined to buy a Deluxe CD mainly because they cost more, the only exception would be if my favourite band/artist that I particularly took a liking to released one, but even then I would search for the lowest price.
