CTC is saying “ goodbye to winter ”

Spring is here and members are enjoying new opportunities with the relaxed COVID-19 restrictions . US- TA is back and
GRAY Charbonneau is
sponsoring three teams , not the usual six , during this shortened season . Only six matches will be played and our teams are the following : 18 + 7.0 Women ’ s 18 + 8.0 Women ’ s and 40 + 8.0 Mixed Doubles .
We are just thankful to again enjoy our tennis team spirit ! We are a small club , but year after year we beat some of the larger clubs around the Portland area . Our teams usually go to Sectional Playoffs , which means you finish first or second in the league . Teams such as Mt . Park , Stafford and Multnomah Athletic Club have bowed to our warrior teams ! Can you tell I am excited ?
We are also welcoming new faces to our club and the waitlist has now joined at full membership . An April Mixed Doubles Social is being planned to introduce new members to establish new friends and tennis partners ! Our club pro , Donna Roisom , is looking into a grandkids summer tennis camp for all of our wonderful “ grands ” that we expose to the game of tennis . We see ourselves as , “ The BEST small club ” in the Portland area , which enables us to do special activities for members and their families . Our summer pro exhibition and
