With the new year comes the return of some of your favorite clubhouse events .
Bingo at CCC
Do you like to play bingo ? If so , come to the clubhouse at 3 p . m . on Thursday , Jan . 13 . Play a total of eight games with three bingo cards for each game . We ask for a minimum donation of $ 20 for the Wilsonville Food Bank and we will accept cash or check , no credit cards .
Fourth Friday at Five social event
We are holding a “ Fourth Friday at Five ” social event at 5 p . m . on Friday , Jan . 28 . Residents will enjoy appetizers from one of our approved caterers and entertainers at this event . Be sure to

bring your own beverage and enjoy the company of your fellow Charbonneau neighbors . If you know someone who has recently moved to Charbonneau , be sure to let them know about this event and how they can buy tickets , which are $ 10 per person . Consider inviting newcomers to sit with you , make them feel welcome and introduce them to others .
To attend , a mask must be worn unless eating or drinking . Tickets will go on sale at 9 a . m . Monday , Jan . 3 . Only 150 reservations are available . CCC Board members will be on hand to discuss the latest Charbonneau news and answer any questions you may have .
Tickets for the February “ Fourth Friday at Five ” event will go on sale Feb . 1 .
Valentine ’ s Day dinner
Are you looking for something fun to do for Valentine ’ s Day ? Come to the Country Club for dinner and entertainment Monday , Feb . 14 . Doors will open at 5 p . m . Dinner will be served at 5:30 p . m ., and the entertainment will start at 6 p . m . Tickets are $ 50 each and will go on sale at 9 a . m . Jan . 28 .

Charbonneau Country Club Community Garage Sale
The CCC Community Garage will be on Friday , July 29 , and Saturday , July 30 . The holidays have passed and it ’ s time to start thinking about spring cleaning . What better way to get rid of unwanted items than participating in a community-wide garage sale .

Artist display at Charbonneau
Charbonneau resident Cathi McLain ’ s artwork is featured in the clubhouse during January . A little about artist Cathi McLain : After a long and rewarding career as a home economist and food marketing professional , Cathi McLain retired with an eye to writing , golfing

and volunteering . She was surprised to discover that a penchant for painting would take over and become a new vocation .
“ I ’ ve always enjoyed drawing and took required basic art classes in college , never dreaming that I would have a talent for painting . I ’ ve been hooked since attempting my first watercolor during a resort workshop in 2017 ! I have taken many classes online and locally . I enjoy painting a variety of subjects in watercolor and acrylic — flowers and all manner of natural subjects , plus old trucks and boats . So many choices . I find many inspirations while walking the dog in our beautiful Charbonneau neighborhood and during our travels near and far . Peoples ’ pets are a delight to paint and I treasure the challenge of capturing their unique spirits
Cathi serves as president of the Charbonneau Arts Association , a 501 ( c )( 3 ) nonprofit organization that hosts an annual Festival of the Arts to benefit art programs at Canby and Wilsonville High Schools . Planning is already underway for the new and expanded festival June 3-5 , 2022 .
