Charbonneau Men ’ s Club

New Men ’ s Club board offi cers and committee chairs
Men ’ s Club officers for the 2021- 2022 season were elected at the board ’ s regular board meeting on Nov . 2 .
The officers are
MASON Don Mason ( president ), Spence Groshong ( vice president ), Steve Werts ( secretary ) and Don Lloyd ( treasurer ).
Other board members returning include Laurin Larsen ( tournaments ), Jeff Cummings ( membership ), Mike Brown ( rules and handicap ), Glen Ferguson ( social ), Tim Tyler and John Nguyen . Spencer Groshong , Joe Fieweger and Greg Benesh are joining the board for their first year .
The Men ’ s Club has about 15 committees that are chaired by board members and many have openings for other volunteer committee members . Check the Men ’ s Club website under the admin tab / board and committees to see the committees and their chairperson who you could contact if you would like to help out .
Men ’ s Club season ending four-man scramble results
� First place ( tie ) with net score of 47 : Bruce Stone , Ken Teunon , Greg Benish , and Bruce Eder ; Bill Bray , Dennis Jablonski , Perry Esterson and Phil Neely .
� Third place ( three-way tie ) with net score of 49 : Ford Morishita , Spence Groshong , Denny Gablier , and David Way ; Don Lloyd , Rob Faxon , Tim Bonino and Don Fish ; Don Mason , Don Beer , Mark Bruhns and Bill Moir .
Hole-in-One winners for the 2020- 2021 season
The Men ’ s Club Hole-in-One season ended Oct . 31 with seven prize winners this year . Congratulations to Art Warren ( Green 8 ), Gene Harp ( Yellow 2 ), Tom Taylor ( Green 5 ), Jeff Cummings ( Red 4 ), Jerry Zeller ( 9 Red ), Ken Waldron ( Green 2 ) and John Nguyen ( Green 8 ) for their achievement this past year . A reminder that the 2021- 2022 Hole-in-One season started Nov . 1 and the opportunity to win a cash award is included as part of your membership fee .
Most improved golfers
Each year the Men ’ s Club recognizes two individuals who have the made the most improvement in their handicap from the beginning of the reporting year until the end . This year ’ s winners are Larry Stuber ( 18-hole division ) and Tim Bonino ( 9-hole division ).
Renew your membership for the 2022 season
It ’ s time to renew your Men ’ s Club membership for the 2022 calendar year . Just fill out the registration form found in the clubroom of the Pro Shop , attach a $ 75 check , ($ 90 after Dec . 31 ) made out to “ Charbonneau Men ’ s Club ” and put them into the Men ’ s Club drawer slot . A printable version of the application form is available on the Men ’ s Club website main page via the “ Join the Club ” tab in the upper right-hand corner .
Your membership fee includes entry in our season-long Charbonneau Cup competition and eligibility for Hole-in- One prize money if you score a Hole-in- One at Charbonneau .
