We perform “ On the Road With The Niners ”

Twenty-twenty-two was a great year for the Niners !
Membership grew with both new golfers and new social members . Thanks to everyone for introducing us
FIEWEGER to your friends . Our season ended in October , but some of us will continue to play and brave the colder weather . We hustle to the propane heaters as we walk off the ninth hole !
Our annual performance , ‘ On the Road With The Niners ’ was dedicated to the memory of our dear friend , Pat Tewell . We gave the performance to our Niners at our End of the Year Banquet , hosted by Joanna Sawyer , Dianne Reiter and Cathy Loffink . They provided a gourmet banquet along with delicious desserts . Two performances to the community followed and were sold out .
Thanks to Joanna Sawyer for her 18th year of direction and ‘ patience ’ in teaching us the dance and working with us on our skits . She has already selected the theme ‘ It ’ s Five O ’ clock Somewhere ’ for next year . She still has room for the dance team and skits . The committee sign-up book is in the Pro Shop Niners Cabinet . You ,” — chaired by Cheryl Barnum and Cathy Czar — we were treated to a free lunch ! We enjoyed pizzas and salads from the Market Café and brownies and ice cream from Laraine Vazzana and Mary Fieweger . On behalf of the nominating committee of Cheryl Barnum , Karen Siegel , Carol Zinsli and Joyce Bowden , we introduced the slate of officers for our 2023 season . The membership unanimously approved Cathy Loffink as president , Kim Warram and Sharon Garrick as co-vice presidents , Marsha Wadsworth as treasurer , and Sandy Esterson as secretary . Congratulations and please support them in committee work so we can have another great season ! Winners all received recognitions .
We are saddened by the recent loss of our NINER , Betty Cyphers . Betty enjoyed playing with the Niners for five years . Big sister , Virginia Horler , shared that she was an accomplished artist . We learned from a neighbor and Niners social member , Mary Tillery , that she was also a seamstress ! She sewed all her own clothes ! Ray and their three children would welcome a card .
