$ 150,000 AVAILABLE THROUGH ARLINGTON ’ S 2024 NEIGHBORHOOD MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM ✅

The City of Arlington is pleased to announce another Neighborhood Matching Grant call for projects . Through this year ’ s program , $ 150,000 is available to fund improvement projects that will beautify and enhance the public spaces and strengthen neighborhoods throughout The American Dream City .
Eligibility
Any neighborhood group with an IRS EIN and bank account can apply for a grant up to $ 10,000 and any neighborhood registered as an HOA or nonprofit with the State of Texas can apply for a grant up to $ 25,000 for an eligible project . Examples of eligible projects include landscaping , neighborhood signage , sign toppers , public art , park improvements , and streetscape enhancements .

ROTARY CLUB OF ARLINGTON , CELEBRATING CENTENNIAL OF SERVICE , DEDICATES NEW PUBLIC ART IN DOWNTOWN ARLINGTON

The Rotary Club of Arlington commemorated its centennial by donating “ Boundless ,” a new interactive public art piece in Downtown Arlington for residents and visitors alike to enjoy .
Ribbon Cutting
The Rotary Club held a dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the sculpture June 10 at the future site of Rotary Dream Park . The sculpture celebrates the Rotary Club of Arlington ’ s 100 years of dedication , vision , and involvement with the community , including its pivotal role in the creation and evolution of the parks system in Arlington .
Rotary Dream Park is designed to create a new public gathering space Downtown and to connect new developments along Front and Division streets to the vibrant Downtown core south of the railroad tracks .
Applications for this grant program opened Tuesday , August 1 and are due by Friday , November 3 , 2023 . For a project to be considered , it must be submitted by neighbors , serve a public purpose , have a detailed timeline , and meet all City codes . Each neighborhood must also contribute 20 % grant match towards the project , although in some cases a cash match is not required .
“ Public art installations , like Boundless , enrich our lives . They provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life and invite us to pause and reflect and engage with our surroundings ,” City Council District 5 Representative Rebecca Boxall said during the ceremony .
To apply , a project team leader must attend one of five Information Sessions scheduled throughout the city .
