FAULKNER UNIVERSITY AWARDS $ 2 MILLION IN SCHOLARSHIPS AT THE 2ND ANNUAL ZORN / L2L FAULKNER UNIVERSITY INVITATIONAL

Faulkner University proudly awarded $ 2 million in scholarships to 42 Lads 2 Leaders participants who competed in the second annual Zorn / L2L Faulkner University Invitational . Kirkley Bramlett emerged as this year ’ s National Oratorical Scholarship Winner for the female competition , receiving a full scholarship to Faulkner . Christian Otey claimed victory in the men ’ s invitational . Colby Johnson secured second place and was also awarded a full tuition scholarship . Additionally , each eligible participant in the competition earned a $ 16,000 scholarship per year to attend Faulkner University . Competitors traveled from 13 states from across the nation to participate in this prestigious event , which was part of Faulkner ’ s Homecoming celebration and Faulkner Bible Lectureship .

JUDGE APPROVED SOUTHERN ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEONS ’ PLAN FOR NEW SURGERY CENTER

An administrative law judge has ruled in favor of Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons ’ ( SOS ) plan for a state-of-the-art surgical facility designed to improve patient care and outcomes in the River Region . The new facility will have six fully-equipped operating rooms and two specialized procedure rooms , ensuring that SOS can efficiently accommodate a wide range of orthopedic surgical needs . If approved by SHPDA , the new facility should be open within the next two years .
