TUSKEGEE-MOREHOUSE CLASSIC MOVES TO MONTGOMERY’ S HISTORIC CRAMTON

The historic Tuskegee-Morehouse Classic, the oldest HBCU football rivalry dating back to the early 1900s, will take place at the iconic Cramton Bowl in October. Previously held in Columbus, Georgia, this move to Alabama’ s Capital City marks a new chapter for the celebrated rivalry between Morehouse College and Tuskegee University, promising an unforgettable weekend of football, culture and community.

BIG BAD BREAKFAST TO ANCHOR NEW REDEVELOPMENT IN MONTGOMERY’ S OLD CLOVERDALE

A significant redevelopment project is breathing new life into Montgomery’ s historic Old Cloverdale district. The 11,000-squarefoot site across from the Capri Theatre, once home to beloved local spots like Café Louisa and Tomatino’ s Pizza, is being transformed into“ Old Cloverdale Village.” The revitalization is led by the Birmingham-based FiveStone Group, with Montgomery native Michael Reilly at the helm. The first confirmed tenant is Big Bad Breakfast, marking its debut in Montgomery.

PATE LANDSCAPE WINS STATEWIDE CONSTRUCTION AWARD FOR 17 SPRINGS

Montgomery-based Pate Landscape Company was awarded a Build- South Award from the Associated General Contractors of Alabama( AGC). The award was presented at the AGC annual banquet at The Club in Birmingham. Selection criteria included excellence in project management, innovative techniques, sensitivity to surroundings and excellence in client services. Pate received the award for their work on 17 Springs.
