In the late 1800s , Maria D . Beggs and 14 women from her Sunday school class went door to door , raising money to open a new hospital to serve Fort Worth . As a result of Mrs . Beggs ’ efforts , All Saints Episcopal Hospital opened in 1906 and operates today as Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center . The Maria D . Beggs Planned Giving Society was created in 1999 to recognize friends of Baylor Scott & White All Saints who have arranged for a bequest or planned gift to the hospital .
From 1993-1995 , this $ 7.9 million campaign raised funds for major expansions and renovations of the Heart Center , Childbirth Center , NICU , Radiology Unit and CRFC . The development also included the construction of a $ 58 million outpatient diagnostic , surgical and emergency treatment center .
