Raquel Munoz serves as the
University Registrar . She was born and raised in Southern
California and is committed to serving her community through mentorship and volunteer work .
Claudia Ramirez is the Helpdesk Manager at CDU and during her tenure she ’ s seen the Helpdesk grow to five members , processing over 8,900 work orders yearly .
Charles R . Drew University Student Government ( CDUSG ) hosted its first ever CDU Pride Day across the campus . The purpose of the event was to amplify school spirit within our community of students . Over 100 students were provided with free CDU branded gear that included T-shirts , tote bags , and stickers so that they could proudly represent the University every day . Due to the great turn out , with supplies running short part way through the day , CDUSG representatives say that CDU Pride Day could become a yearly event .
“ The students who participated were amazing , and we are so glad that they enjoyed the event ,” said Alyssa Bilheimer , CDUSG Vice President of Communications . “ It is always so nice to meet students and to see their excitement during campus events .”
CDUSG is a student-led organization that is composed of student reps from the University ’ s three colleges . The student-run government strives to maintain excellent communication between students and the administration . The body plans and hosts many events throughout the school year with the goal of creating fun opportunities for students to engage in .
