During election years , to work with the incoming Executive Committee members to coordinate the budget between incumbent and new officers so that new officers are familiar with the process ;
g . To approve upcoming non-budgeted expenditures ;
h . To assure teamwork regarding different PTFA activities while being sensitive to the needs of others on the committee and working together like a team .
3 . A majority shall constitute a quorum on the Executive Committee . Special meetings of the Executive Committee may be called by the President or by the majority of the members of the Executive Committee .
ARTICLE X : DUTIES OF THE OFFICERS
1 . Principals and Administrator a . Attend all PTFA Executive Committee meetings ;
b . Coordinate all school activities with the PTFA Executive Committee .
2 . President a . Coordinates the entire PTFA program and supervises the work of the other officers ;
b . Organizes the officers for the year ’ s activities and calls and presides over all Executive Committee meetings ;
c . Appoints special committees , assigns a coordinator for each , and supervises their work ; d . Supervises the planning of the PTFA school calendar and programs for the year ; e . Presides over PTFA meetings ; f . Writes notices to parents informing them of meetings and content ; g . Directs the construction of an annual PTFA budget for the School Board ’ s approval ; h . Reviews expenditures and adherence to the budget with the Treasurer ; i .

Has a seat and is a voting member of the School Board while attending all School Board monthly meetings in order to update the board members on PTFA matters ;
Presents the school board with a monthly written report ( that may consist of the monthly Executive Committee minutes and treasurer ’ s report and / or a written summary of the information );
k . Reviews minutes from the Executive Committee meetings and regular PTFA meetings before they are finalized and distributed to the Executive Committee members ;
