Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) and Assetline Leasing Co Ltd came together to offer special leasing facilities for Tata commercial vehicles, namely Tata Small Commercial Vehicles (SCVs), pickups, Light and Intermediate Commercial Vehicles (L&ICVs) and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs), and buses last month.
Through the partnership, both
parties intend to buy up customer experience by reducing
the processing time, including
less documents and featuring a better customer experience and service standards through innovative daily pay leasing solutions overall, minimizing the hassle customers go through.
With DIMO as the distributor, Tata made its first export in Sri Lanka 57 years ago and since then DIMO has expanded to a total of forty branches in the island. Tata commercial vehicles were preferred in Sri Lanka primarily
because it offers value for money. Dimo’s services and
genuine parts sales have also contributed towards Tata’s success in the recent past. Unsurprisingly Tata’s lowest operating and maintenance cost and customised transportation solutions are one of the main contributors to its growing customer base.
Established in 2003, Assetline leasing is relatively new compared to Tata or DIMO. But, the organization has done extremely well to top the charts among specialised leasing companies in Sri Lanka.
Apart from commercial vehicles, motorcycles, scooters, motor cars, mini trucks, new and used three-wheelers, machinery and hire purchases, Assetline leasing offers business loans, revolving loans and micro loans as well.
