DIMO Recently Sponsored a Vivid Mercedes-Benz Pageant at the BMICH
The Mercedes-Benz Pageant, which is annually organised by the Mercedes-Benz Club of Sri Lanka, was recently held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). The 2017 Pageant saw the record-breaking participation of more than 750 Mercedes-Benz cars, their owners as well as their families from around the country.
Backed by the sole authorised distributor for Mercedes-Benz vehicles in Sri Lanka, Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC, this year’s Pageant was not the typical event seen in the past. The car owners who came from across the island were presented with memorial mugs, while their children were given special Mercedes-Benz caps to remember the day.
The cars were methodically displayed according to several categories at this year’s Pageant, which showed the evolution of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, from the pre-World War 2 era to the latest modern day cars.
