WHAT IS IT?

EFSC is a Federal Aviation Administration( FAA) certified Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician School( AMTS), and is one of the most affordable A & P school routes to obtaining FAA certification. Students are trained to become an aviation maintenance technician and prepared to take the FAA exams leading to certification as an Airframe and Powerplant Technician.
In this full-time, 23-month, 2,250 clock-hour training program, students will learn aircraft maintenance theory, diagnostic procedures and FAA-approved methods for inspecting, servicing, and repairing aircraft and their systems. Students will be taught how to use aviation industry standard tooling and equipment to perform work on actual aircraft.

Note: The Aviation Maintenance Technology program is a limited access program. A specialized application process is required.
