 WHAT IS IT?
 EFSC’ s Aviation Maintenance Administration Associate in Science degree program prepares students who are seeking employment as a supervisor or frontline manager in the aviation maintenance industry. Potential employment opportunities include maintenance and repair facilities, corporate or airline maintenance operations, and similar aviation fields.
 The 60-credit hour A. S. degree curriculum includes 33 hours of articulated credit for those students who hold active FAA Mechanic Certification with Airframe and Power Plant Ratings OR who provide a certificate of completion of Aircraft Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Power Plant Mechanics from an FAA-approved certificate program in good standing.
 Graduates of EFSC’ s Aviation Maintenance Technology program are eligible to apply for the A. S. degree to add management skills to their resume.
 The additional 27 hours of coursework covers communications and leadership skills; how to direct, plan and control job tasks; human relations and employability skills; and safe and efficient work practices.
