RESPIRATORY CARE A. S. DEGREE

WHAT IS IT?

EFSC’ s Associate in Science degree in Respiratory Care prepares graduates as specialists dealing with the diagnosis, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with cardiopulmonary diseases.
Students in this two-year program will be exposed to and will be expected to perform in all areas within the hospital setting as they train to work as a respiratory therapist. Emphasis is placed on acute and critical care.
The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care( CoARC) and satisfies the requirements established by the National Board for Respiratory Care, qualifying the graduate as a candidate for the national registry examination.
Note: The Respiratory Care program is a limited access program. A specialized application process is required.
