WHAT IS IT?
Physical therapist assistants deliver treatments and interventions to patients under a plan of care established by a supervising physical therapist. They often work in settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, schools, and home healthcare.
The two-year Physical Therapist Assistant program at Eastern Florida State College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education( CAPTE).
Upon graduation, students will be eligible to sit for the licensure examination.
Note: The Physical Assistant program is a limited access program. A specialized application process is required.
