Ethical Analysis:

Tattoos on a person's body can tell a story about them, what they stand for, or what they have been through. This type of physical image converys a message the person aims to communicate. The fact that the women of the Colorado basketball team are not allowed to get tattoos takes away a basic human right: freedom of expression. It would be acceptable if the program did not let any of the players get tattoos throughout the athletic program for whatever reason (maybe a stereotype they hold). However, giving the men freedom to express themselves and not the women is blantent inequality. All people, especially at that age, deserve the right to express themselves, regardless their gender.
