Casein Protein
Also derived from cow’s milk, but the proteins
have a different structure than Whey Protein.
The structure of casein proteins makes them
insoluble in water and as a result, forms a gel-
like substance in the stomach that allows for
prolonged breakdown and absorption of
protein.
Absorption rate: Lasts over several
hours
