Derived from cow’s milk, extracted from
coagulated proteins during the cheese making
process. It has 30-80% protein by weight and
contains some fats, carbs, and lactose

Whey Protein Isolate?
Similar to Whey Protein Concentrate except
the protein has been filtered or isolated for a
more pure form of protein. It has 90-98%
protein by weight and contains very minimal
amounts of fats or carbs and sometimes none
at all.
Absorption rate: Very quick
Benefit:
Rapid absorption,
immediate source of
protein to muscles
Best for: When on a budget and
can’t afford Isolate
Protein, first thing in the
morning and post-
workout Best for: If you can afford the
steeper cost vs Whey
Protein Concentrate,
immediately post
workout, first thing in
the morning
