New Heads of Sales

Evan Rubinson, president and CEO of
Armadillo Enterprises, has solidified
his senior management team with
the additions of Ron Williams as head
of marketing and Vinnie Del Buono
as head of sales. Armadillo’s brands
include Dean Guitars, Luna Guitars,
and ddrum percussion, which are all
distributed in Canada by Intellimix.
Del Buono has over 20 years
of experience in MI, including 15
years with Guitar Center in positions
ranging from sales to GM at flagship
locations to senior district manager
while Williams spent 26 years working
for prominent advertising agencies,
where he has received multiple awards
for his work in traditional, digital, social,

Craig “Hutch” Hutchison Joins Radial as Senior Design Engineer
Radial Engineering has announced that Craig “Hutch” Hutchison has
joined the company as a senior design engineer. In this role, Hutchi-
son will be working with the engineering and product management
teams to develop the next generation of Radial products.
“Like many working professionals, Radial has been on my radar
for over 20 years,” says Hutchison. “The company is propelling for-
ward and I’m excited to be working with new products that leverage
the latest technology while meeting the needs of professionals.”
Hutchison began his career as a FOH mix engineer for The Guess

Who and Burton Cummings and later worked at Electric Lady Stu-
dios in New York, Manley Labs, and Rupert Neve Designs in addition to consulting and designing
for several other reputable audio manufacturers.

Black Diamond Strings Sold to Guitar String Manufacturing
Super Sensitive Musical String Company has sold Black Diamond Strings to Santa Rosa,
CA’s Guitar String Manufacturing (GSM). With the sale, the manufacturing of Black Dia-
mond Strings has moved from Florida to California, and GSM has arranged to procure the
exact winding machines and wrap formulas Jim Cavanaugh and his family have crafted.
“After conducting an extensive search to find the right company to take over Black
Diamond Strings and its customers, we certainly feel we have found that with Greg Sfarzo
and Guitar String Manufacturing,” says Jim Cavanaugh of Super Sensitive Musical String
Company.
