St. Louis Music Acquires Full Ownership of H.W. Products St Louis Music (SLM) has purchased the assets of H.W. Products Inc., a maker of brass and woodwind cleaners and accessories since 1975. With this purchase, SLM acquires 100 per cent ownership of the H.W. brand and is now the Canadian distributor for H.W.’s products. “I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with H.W. and the Koregelos family for many years,” says Mark Ragin, president and CEO of SLM. “I’ve come to know their line as one of great ingenuity and quality and also have great respect for the work Angela [Koregelos] and her late father, George, have put into their company. We’re thrilled to offer our broad distributor and dealer base the current H.W. line and look forward to adding additional products to their great offering.” For more information, contact SLM: 314-727-4512, [email protected], www.stlouismusic.com. Coast Music Now the Exclusive Canadian Distributor of Sire Basses Music Distributors Association Ceases Operations & Cancels NAMM Show & Tell Event The Music Distributors Association is ceasing operations as an organization and has cancelled its annual Show & Tell event, scheduled for Jan. 22, 2019, ahead of The NAMM Show. “As the distribution model has changed over the years with the advent of the internet, buying groups, and industry consolidation, MDA has worked to remain relevant. But we also recognize that our efforts are no longer financially sustainable,” the organization says. “Rather than risk going into the red with one last show, we reluctantly bid farewell to our band of business-to-business brothers and sisters, and thank you all for your support over the years.” NWC CAN GIVE YOUR COMPANY THE EXPOSURE IT DESERVES TO MAKE 2019 YOUR BEST YEAR EVER Bass guitar manufacturer Sire has appoint- ed Coast Music, a division of JAM Indus- tries, as its exclusive Canadian distributor. “Coast Music prides itself on provid- ing reliable service and quality products to our network of music retailers and are pleased to partner with Sire to promote a brand of its quality and innovation,” says Coast Music VP Dan Kano. “With its full-service capabilities, including marketing and sales support, in-house technicians, and after sales support, Coast Music is the perfect partner to assist Sire in its growth in the Canadian market.” “We at Sire Revolution are very excit- ed to be working with Coast Music and JAM Industries,” says David Yu, COO of Sire. “Together, we will do our best to provide the best game-changing products to all Canadian players.” For more information, contact Coast Music: 514-457-2555, [email protected], www.coastmusic.ca.
