Benedetto Guitars Celebrates 50 th Anniversary in 2018
Benedetto Guitars will be celebrating its 50 th anniversary in 2018. Founded by Robert “Bob” Benedetto and
handcrafted in Savannah, GA since 2006, Benedetto guitars have been played by four generations of some of the
world’s most prolific jazz guitarists.
With Bob’s retirement approaching in 2015, Benedetto Guitars prepared for years to transition seamlessly from
Bob’s personal workbench to now Master Luthier Damon Mailand and his team of artisans while maintaining Bob’s
well-known designs and traditional luthiery techniques.
“We are entrusted with Bob’s legacy of uncompromising performance, minimalist aesthetic, and extraordinary

Music China 2017 Marks New
Attendance Record
Music China welcomed a total of 105,125 visitors from 86 countries and
regions to its 2017 show, which was held from Oct. 11-14 in Shanghai.
Organizers are attributing the record turnout, which is a 16 per cent
year-over-year increase, to Asia’s thriving musical instrument and music
education markets.
Music China provides a gateway for visitors and exhibitors to tap into the
prosperous Asian and Chinese markets. This year, a total of 2,124 exhibitors from
30 countries and regions assembled in 125,000 sq. m. of exhibition space.
The next edition of Music China will be held from Oct. 10-13, 2018.
