* TECHNICALLY OPTIONAL BUT STRONGLY RECOMMENDED While not required, we would love if all candidates made the time to attend the Amendments Committee this year! We want you to be aware of the amendments as you campaign because voters may ask you about them and you should be informed.
GENERAL ASSEMBLY III
1:30-3:30 PM
General Assembly III consists mostly of candidates’ speeches, including yours! This is your moment to share your reasons for running and plans for office to everyone else at convention. Remember, JCLers are supportive people and are looking for reasons to vote for you, so don’ t sweat it.
MEET THE CANDIDATES( MTC)
6:00-7:00 PM
At Meet the Candidates, you will set up a station at a table, and other JCLers will be able to walk around and ask questions to you and the other candidates. As we are moving this event after GA III this year, be prepared for questions about your speech and platform! Feel free to bring flyers, posters, etc., and be ready to do a lot of talking!

Prepare a short“ spiel” for MtC, where you talk about your JCL story and qualifications.
