Also known as“ NomCom”, the Nominations Committee Meeting is the very first election event! Here, candidates give a two minute speech about their qualifications and platform to a smaller audience of two delegates from each State in attendance. Helpful tips to remember: Each State must bring two delegates to the meeting to gain its full, two votes. Candidates must bring an adult from their State: either a State Chair or their proxy. If you plan to run from the floor, you must also bring a State Chair or their proxy to this meeting. After NomCom, you may officially campaign!
