Camp Hilbert Instructional and Free Swim
Campers at Camp Hilbert swim twice a day for 45 minutes: instructional swim in the morning and free swim in the afternoon. The lifeguards and swim instructors that lead these swim periods are supervised by Mallory Moore, Camp Hilbert Aquatics Coordinator, who is an American Red Cross Water Safety & Lifeguard Instructor and Certified Pool Operator. At the beginning of each week, new campers will be evaluated and placed with their peers of the same swimming ability. Our swim lessons follow the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim levels, the same that are taught at the Weinstein JCC year-round swim program. There are six different levels, ranging from introduction to water skills, fundamentals, stroke development and improvement to swimming and skill proficiency.
Aquatics at the Weinstein JCC is led by Kelly Johannsen, a Certified Pool and Spa operator, American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, and Water Aerobics Instructor. Kelly oversees the swim team, camps swimming programs as well as the Weinstein JCC aquatics staff and facilities.
Dolphin Club Swim Team
The Dolphin Club swimming year round season has experienced monumental growth and has been an exciting time of breaking team records. Our coaching staff is looking forward to bringing that same excitement to the summer season! The summer Dolphin Club Swim Team provides practice at the Weinstein JCC and Camp Hilbert for registered swimmers. We would love for your swimmers to experience being a part of our Fin Family. All pool activities are supervised by a Pool Deck Supervisor as well as American Red Cross Lifeguards. All Weinstein JCC staff are required to be CPR / ����������������������������������������������������
