You will need:
• Your fondant covered cake
• Exacto knife
• Your fondant covered board
• Ruler
• Contrast coloured fondant for
cage wires
• Water
• Small brush
• Airbrush with vodka (optional)
• 6mm ribbon of your choice
• 6mm double side tape
• Pre-made edible lace
• Pre-made sugar flowers and
fillers
• Small amount of royal icing
• Shortening
• Extruder
* Please note if you are making the birdcage as a top tier of a wedding (or other) cake you do not need to
attach to a cake board
