• Rolling pin
• Sugar syrup
• Cornflour
• Pastry brush
• Smoothers
• Fondant
• Pizza cutter or knife
• Cake board
• Small piece of acetate
* Please note if you are making the birdcage as a top tier of a wedding (or other) cake you do not
need to cover a cake board
