climb up. Let us give young men opportunities.
Every generation has got its' own struggles. Let us
learn to understand them and be transparent about our
own struggles. This will help us to stay humble and
avoid hypocrisy. Be patient with them. Many of us
have problems in consistently reading and
meditating the Bible. Hence, let us be honest in our
struggles.
which is without cunningness or deceit.
5. Transparent About Failures
Lk 5:5 - “And Simon answered, “Master, we
toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I
will let down the nets.”
Joh 21:5 - Jesus said to them, “Children, do
you have any fish?” They answered him, “No.”
Here we find Simon Peter telling Jesus that he
got nothing. He was transparent about his failures.
Let our 'Yes' be 'Yes' and 'No' be 'No.' Why do we
need to manipulate? What is there to hide? Let us not
try to defend ourselves or give a different answer. If
you face a failure, admit it. Only when we are
transparent, can we have solution and learn from the
failure. But when we are on a denial mode, ultimately
everybody will suffer.
Apostle Paul was a miracle worker. But on one
occasion, he very clearly admitted that Trophimus
was left behind with sickness.
2 Tim 4:20 - “I left Trophimus, who was ill, at
Miletus.”
Paul might have prayed for Trophimus. Paul
was transparent about the results of the ministry.
Even when the disciples could not drive out the
demons, they asked Jesus openly about their failure.
Only then were they able to learn and grow. Growth
in Christian maturity always results from an honest
analysis of our own failures. Transparency will help
us grow in the Lord and in our service to Him.
6.Transparent About Sufferings
Many have an idea that as we grow in the Lord

Jesus testified about Nathaniel that he was
without deceit (John 1:47). Let us not be like a fox.
Fox is a cunning animal, always scheming and
planning. Let us not always try to find fault with
others and pull them down. Let us be like the dove
2 Co 4:7-11 “ But we have this treasure in jars
of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to
God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but
not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair;
persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not
destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of
Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested
in our bodies. For we who live are always being given
over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus
also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.”
