can come across a dead wallow tree,
which has a low burning temperature.
For those who are planning to make
radial trips instead of making a camp,
we suggest that you begin paddling
from the village of Rozvadiv. There is
a nice clearing which can be used as a
parking lot on the right bank, above the
old bridge. One can start higher along
the current of the river, from Kolodruby –
that is within 3–4 hours of walking along
the river towards Rozvadiv or above
Chajkovychi. In fact, there is no sense to
start higher than Chajkovychi since the
river is stemmed with a man-made damp
with the elevation difference up to four
meters, and, of course, one will have to
pass it around.

It is worth noting that among all
obstacles, which happen to be on our way,
the most annoying one is broken glass,
scattered in different spots along the
bank line, and especially near bridges, as

well as the piles of old bridges that have
not been dismantled. You should take
special care of the latter since the paddle
covering can be cut by them. Among
the natural obstacles, there are shoals
and trees branches, almost reaching the
water. In order not to get a boat in a fix,
one should remember that the water is
deeper at the outer diameters of the river
turn, which, as a rule, is noticeable
