Diryavets Stone. On the whole, the trip
from the settlement, together with a walk
around the rock, will take no longer than
one hour and a half.
Again, we are going to move out to
the motorway, right near the Rzewuski
Palace, which we have already seen. We
turn right and, passing along the ceramic
plant, without entering its territory,
move towards the village of Berezyna.
Turning left at the circle (the direction of
Zhydachiv), we make a stop at the last site,
which is the Memorial Sign of Thanks to
Count Rzewuski from Peasants.
In total, this really long and full
of events trip lasts about 10 hours.
Considering the desertedness of the
road, one should take a first-aid kit as
well as A repair kit. If possible, it would
be great to have a car escort hence it is
not excluded that the route can be too
difficult for some participants.
Day 3
We would recommend to make this
day less difficult, and dedicate it to cycling
trips to the village of Veryna, namely to
Pryjma. In total, the trip will take up
to six hours. It is really not difficult to
get to Veryna, following the direction
signs. However, one should note that the
traffic on the road is very heavy; so, let‘s
remember: our top priority is the safety
of the trip.
The first landmark on our left hand
side is the church, which iconostasis
is notable for its, mildly speaking,
unexpected presentation of political
figures as saints (who, needless to
say, explicitly do not deserve such an

honour). Right next to it, a unique
tree – a thousand-year old oak can be
seen. In fact, we are not going to stay
here for more than 30 minutes. So, we
resume our trip. The patriotic stone sign
with blue-and yellow and red-and-black
flags on the slope, right of the road, is
the only direction sign on the way to the
cave of the Neanderthals. From there, the
road goes left and further down across
the raven towards Pryjma. To be honest,
to find the cave without locals or a guide
is difficult but possible. It is really hard
to climb up with bicycles; so, you will be
better off leaving them at the foot of the
hill. The steep path on the right leads to
the cave. All in all, the visit to this site
will take up to three hours, considering
the time, spent on searching the way. On
the way back, you can visit Veryn nature
reserve.
