Thus, the third day is easier in terms of physical download; however, one should note that the challenge of this day is the need to move along the motorway. (there are plenty of road pits there). In any case, in order to make a cycling trip possible, you should get bicycles delivered to the terminal point. So, you cannot spare yourself the pain of organizing an automobile escort. Day 4 Again, taking paddles in hands, we start paddling from the village of Berezyna to the confluence of the Stryj and the Dniester. Please note that the trip Berezyna–Rozvadiv-Zalisky has been repeatedly made within one day – that is worth considering while planning tours around this area. So, all in all, the trip will last from three to five hours; in fact, there are no really interesting tourist sites on the way; nevertheless, beautiful, however somewhat monotonous landscapes, will accompany you throughout the whole trip. If you feel inclined to make the fourth day more difficult as well as to add more dynamics to it, you can take a cycling trip from Zalisky; in doing so, two routes can be used – via Zhydachiv and via Rozdil. The first option (via Zhydachiv) is better in terms of landscapes (there are lakes and ponds on the way); whereas the second one (via Rozdil) is safer since the traffic on the road is not really heavy Day 5 In fact, this is the day of excursions, when either bicycles or automobiles can be used. The best option is to make a trip around Mykolaiv. While starting from Berezyna, one can visit Veryn nature reserve, Pryjma-1, Veryn itself, and Mykolaiv. As far as Mykolaiv is concerned, the trip around the sites, located in its surroundings, can last several days. Mykolaiv is a very old town, and as such it is surrounded with a large number of caves of not quite clear origin. The town could become a theatre of military actions during the World War I; therefore, some of catacombs are more than 100 years old. Unfortunately, there no direction signs in place; so, without local guides you will be wondering around in search of the way for rather long. Of course, the palace and the chapel of count Skarbek are really worth your attention. As far as catacombs are concerned, they are still full of hidden mysteries. 9
