We don’ t know about your house, but getting our kids to eat vegetables has proven to be a difficult task that takes quite a bit of creativity. Here is our solution to getting our kids to eat cauliflower. Roasted Cauliflower 2 Bags of Frozen Cauliflower( Serves our house of 4) Olive Oil Lemon Juice Garlic( Garlic Salt, Powder, or Minced) Salt( if Garlic Salt isn’ t used) Place cauliflower on cookie sheet and drizzle olive oil and lemon juice generously to coat. Sprinkle garlic and salt generously to taste. Pop in oven on 400 until cauliflower gets tender, approximately 20 minutes. Serve and Enjoy! Our kids actually request this often as a side, and if we don’ t fix our plates quickly, they will eat all of it!
In the past, for Valentine’ s Day, I have gotten Christy a dozen roses. While she loves them, she has said before that they only last a short time and she would rather have something that would last longer. Now she receives a Rose Bush and can enjoy roses year around. This gives Christy her fragrant roses whenever she wants and gives me the opportunity to do something that I love, which is work outside in the yard. I take pride in keeping the outside of our home looking beautiful and enjoy the time doing it. If you come to our home in the springtime, you can see that flowers are one of our favorite things.
