Hi! My name is Kayleigh Graves. For the last three years, I have been studying Journalism with Creative Writing at the University of Leicester, however I have always had a passion for live sport. I recently worked with the Leicester Riders basketball team and completed a placement with Leicester Football Club and their charity“ Leicester City in the Community” alongside plenty of freelance writing.
I have always been surrounded by horse racing growing up and greatly admired how widely appreciated and attended the sport is. This is something which I am eager to understand on a deeper level with firsthand experience and keen to work towards making this continuously possible.
I hope that with my past experience in both the sport and hospitality world, I can continue to help grow the popularity and reach of the horseracing world to keep it prominent in the lives of many.

Hi, my name is Kieran McHugh. I have been contributing to Racing Daily for the last five years and I am SIP Media’ s horse racing editor, while freelancing for Racing Ahead. During this time, I have enhanced my skills in producing and optimising content. Alongside this, I have studied for a BA( Hons) in Sports Journalism.
I have followed the sport globally, all my life, being fascinated by the stories and as such, I have become immersed in its history. I am looking forward to better understanding the different sectors of the industry and their daily operations. I hope that in the future, I can promote and spread the stories of the sport and entice a new generation of fans, whilst not forgetting the current enthusiasts.
