Hi, my name is Imogen Brook. My background originally started in eventing where I competed around the UK and Europe. However for the past 18 months, I have moved into the racing industry working for trainer Dan Horsford, combining the roles of work rider and racing secretary. I have gained a fantastic insight into the day-to-day operations of a racing stable but am excited for the opportunity to learn more and gain a greater understanding of how race meetings are managed in practice.
There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes to protect the integrity, fairness, and welfare standards of the sport; this is where my passion lies. In the future, I would like to play a role in helping the sport continue to maintain their high standards of integrity and welfare, while also ensure racing remains transparent and sustainable for future generations. careersinracing. com
