diversity of books for students and to promote
the use of Caribbean authored books to match
children’s cultural experiences.
• to excite students’ interest in reading, increase
their learning capacity, and broaden their
imagination & knowledge and vision of
themselves as readers, learners and thinkers.

environments in the classroom and throughout
the school
