Strategic Focus Areas 3 and 6 have specific actions for fostering the development of Aboriginal products and experiences and mentoring Aboriginal tourism operators. In terms of product development, DNSW will focus on supporting to the Destination Networks to create and maintain a pipeline of ‘hero’ experiences, better ‘bundling’ of assets, developing touring routes and trails, industry development and increase the number of ‘export ready’ and ‘China ready’ experiences. The Plan identifies the NSW Outback Region as a ‘hero’ destination and lists the ‘hero’ experiences on offer in the Outback.
