• Allianz Capital Partners GmbH— advised Allianz’ s London Branch in connection with the contemplated acquisition of two wind farm projects with a 11.5 and 12 MW capacity, respectively, from EDF EN. The wind farms are located in Languedoc- Roussillon and in Cantal.*
• BNP Paribas— assisting on a € 180 million longterm project financing for the acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding shares of Enel Green Power France SAS, a portfolio of 13 wind farms with a total capacity of around 196 MW( Project Tungsten). The portfolio located in seven regions in France includes 12 farms in operation and one under construction. BNP Paribas has granted a € 180 million nonrecourse term loan to which € 25 million could be added, upon the satisfaction of certain conditions by Boralex within the 12-month period following the acquisition. The innovative financing has been structured and fully underwritten by BNP Paribas. This portfolio acquisition makes Boralex a leading independent wind power producer in France.*
• Joint venture company held by Macquarie and KKR, Renvico France SAS— advising on the longterm refinancing by Crédit Agricole CIB, Crédit Industriel et Commercial, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited, The Bank of Tokyo- Mitsubishi UFJ, LTD., of a portfolio of 16 wind farms acquired in 2015 through a 50 percent investment in Sorgenia Italy. The financing replaces existing financing granted by several European credit institutions to each operational subsidiary separately and optimise cost of financing, capital structure and flexibility for the addition of future wind farms.*
• Natixis— assisting in the non-recourse financing of a portfolio of eight wind farms( 88 MW) in France held by EOLFI for an amount of € 127 million *
• BNP Paribas— advising on the € 180 million nonrecourse financing of 180 MW wind power capacity sponsored by Boralex, divided into wind farms to be identified in due course *
• RES— advising as borrower in a pan-European portfolio financing in an amount of € 225 million, to finance the construction of eight wind farms in France, England and Ireland, and to refinance operating wind farms in France and England *
• BPCE Energeco, Caisse d’ Épargne et de Prévoyance Grand Est Europe and La Banque Postale— advising the lenders and hedge banks on the financing of the 122 MW Sud Marne wind project on behalf of Hexagon Renewable Energy SA. Hexagon Renewable Energy SA is an independent power producer managed by TTR Energy, a developer, operator and investor in renewable energy for the past 13 years. The Sud Marne project, consisting of 30 4MW and 4.2MW turbines supplied by Vestas, is one of the largest onshore wind project in France( 122 MW). The electricity production of the Sud Marne project is equivalent to the annual consumption of 151,200 households and avoids the production of 118,000 tCO2 per year.
• Pool of banks led by Crédit Agricole CIB— advised on the financing of the construction of a 55 MW ground mounted PV power plant developed by EDF EN, 50 percent of which has been acquired by Mitsubishi Corp. We already assisted the lenders in financing the first two PV plants which are parts of the ambitious Toul Rosières programme of 115 MW developed by EDF EN on the former military base of Rosières close to Nancy in France. The production of Toul Rosières could cover the electricity demand of a 55,000 people community and is presented as the largest PV power project in France and a major one across the world.*
• ALIGHT AB, a Swedish renewable energy developer— assisting with the development and construction of a photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 300 kWC on the 7,000m ² rooftop of Toyota Material Handling’ s head office *
