• Onyx( now known as Veolia Environmental Services)— advising in relation its role as the developer of the integrated waste management facilities including energy from waste facilities( EFW) for the £ 1 billion East Sussex and Brighton PFI project in the United Kingdom including the engineering, procurement and construction contracts for the EFW facility and materials recovery facility( MRF) in relation to the same *
• PSP Investments and OTPP— two of Canada’ s largest pension funds, on their acquisition of 2 / 3 of numerous renewable energy projects in development, construction and operation stages in several jurisdictions( including the UK, Spain, Portugal and Italy) as well as the management team from Santander, for a value of approximately US $ 2b, to create Cubico Sustainable Investment and on the subsequent acquisition of the remaining 1 / 3 interest.
