longer period I’d get the win, and I’d love the chance to do that and show I can beat him’.

Gaynor however relished the whole ‘Prizefighter’ experience, and only enhanced his ambition to get to the top of the game. ‘I loved the whole thing, being in front of the cameras, the TV interviews, the big crowds. It made me realise what I can achieve if I push on from where I am now’.

We turn to Chad’s ambitions for the future. He sees his main goal is to fight for and win the British title within 18 months. After that he’d love to defend it enough to keep his belt before going on from there. He’s working hard to achieve this aim and although he’d obviously like to move on at this point to European level, he is happy to focus on the immediate future for now and doesn’t want to look too far ahead.
